The Victorian

“A touch of luxury”
TheVictorian style dates from the second half of the 19th century. Its sloping roofs beautifully complement the traditional style of the ever popular Victorian conservatory, offering timeless elegance.

The lush and elaborate details and decorations, with its intense attention to detail make the Victorian style a classical motif of its time.

The Edwardian

“Befitting a King”
This was a period of revivalism, taking ideas from the mediaeval and Georgian periods, among others.

The ethos of eclectic designers had won: houses mixed and matched many influences, an evolution of the Victorian terrace with Art Noveau influences in fireplaces, light fittings, stained glass and door furniture.

There wasless clutter than in the Victorian era. Ornaments were perhaps grouped rather than everywhere. Displays of flowers were replaced to complement the floral fabrics and wallpapers.

Roofing System
	Quality Windows will install a Wendland roofing system, manufactured to BSI and BBA standards. This roof has an in use life expectancy of at least 25 years and offers several colour options and the ultimate design flexibility.
	Standard roof glazing is 25mm polycarbonate, you can choose from various colour options or full glass options.
	Polycarbonate is available in several shades to provide glare and heat control and can be particularly efficient when used in conjunction with additional ventilation.
	The roof is sealed to the house wall with stepped lead flashings.
